# Does Matillion support Github 2FA?

Basic authentication using a password to Git is deprecated.&nbsp;The integration to our Github remote repository stopped working since we enabled two-factor authentication, as requested by Github.

&nbsp;

I get an "not authorized" error message when doing a Git Fetch.

&nbsp;

Does Matillion support Github 2FA? How can I make it work? Can you please advise?

No, currently 2FA is not an option.

The feature has been raised as an [idea in the Ideas Portal](https://metlcommunity.matillion.com/s/idea/0874G000000kArYQAU/detail), so you could log in there and give an upvote?
