# Installing a Matillion Exchange component in METL

Hello,

&nbsp;

I'm looking for some some documentation on how to install a new Matillion ETL component (this one to be specific: https://exchange.matillion.com/s/exchange-job/a074G00001Ek73jQAB/pip3-install).

&nbsp;

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

&nbsp;

I'm running Matillion ETL for Snowflake on Amazon EC2.

Hi,

the documentation how to "install" a shared job can be found on the Matillion Exchange. Some other jobs have a more detailed howto, e.g.: https://exchange.matillion.com/s/exchange-job/a074G00001EmAuIQAV/zendesk-talk-incremental-load

**Using the Shared Job**

After downloading the shared job, unpack the zip file and import the job relevant to your platform by using the ‘Manage Shared Jobs’ menu. The .melt file will clearly state which platform it can run on e.g.ZendeskTalk\_Snowflake.melt.&nbsp;

Once imported the job will then appear as a user-defined shared job in the shared job palette as below:

Each shared job contains detailed help - this can be found by clicking on the help tab as per the screenshot below.

Set the parameters as needed. You will need to populate the grid variable for Tables and Columns. This will define what source tables and columns will form part of the Incremental Load process.
