Hi All,
Still new to Matillion, wondering if something like this exists.
I'd like to create two tables, but each on a different environment (Same Orc job)
- Audit_Log would be created on Matillion Dev environment
- Delta_Log would be created on another Redshift environment.
Environments:

Currently, I have to manually select “Switch environment” then run the create table component manually & individually, but id like to just hit start and it will create them in their own environments automatically. Hope this makes sense.
Thanks!
Mike
You can run an Orchestration job manually in a different Environment (Right Click and Select Run Job in another Environment). I don't think this is possible per Component.
You could split your job into two separate jobs and run each in its Environment. The Environment can also be set with Schedules.
Not the best solution for your requirements but I think easier what you are doing today.
Hi @mmccree
Spot on, @Michael. You can submit ideas to the "Ideas Portal" where fellow Community members can up-vote suggestions that can shape Matillion's roadmap. I've attached the link to the Ideas Portal below.

Hello,
You could use 'assert scalar variable' and determined on that do stuff per environment execution, so at least then you can just 'run at will' the job without being afraid that Env A doesn't get the table created ment for Env B etc.

Thanks Michael - Its a pity that the "Create table component" doesn't have the environment selection as an option. Like a drop down selection for which environment the component should point to, perhaps in a future update.
Well I can see these inconsistencies between Components at some places in the product. I think Matillion wants you to open an "idea" in the respective Community Website Section to consider this for future releases. You could try to submit an idea and get some upvotes for your suggestion.
