How would I Setup Matillion to pull date from the Salesforce Tooling API?

I want to pull data from the salesforce tooling API from various objects such as getting the object limits. Here's a link to the API background : https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.api_tooling.meta/api_tooling/intro_api_tooling.htm

 

Notable, configuring the salesforce query connector to pull data from objects doesn't work since it's setup for a different api. Perhaps a custom api connection is needed but I am not familiar with this process so guidance is greatly appreciated!

I figured it out. There is a Connection Option for UseToolingApi and it needs to be set to True
