I have spoken with the team, it’s not currently possible to switch git providers. You can recreate the project using the export/import functionality.

That neing said the team are working in API Endpoints to migrate MHG projects to BYOG (Github, Azure DevOps and Bitbucket. We have a feature on roadmap you can vote on and follow here:
