Issue with Handling Special Characters in CSV Exports from Matillion to Snowflake

I am facing  issues with special characters (like ü, ß) not appearing correctly in the staged CSV files when exporting data from Matillion to Snowflake.

The source database uses Latin1 encoding; while Snowflake requires UTF-8. I have tried configuring transformations &  ensuring encoding settings, but the characters still don't display correctly.

Does Matillion have specific settings or properties for handling character set conversion during export?

 Any guidance to ensure proper handling of special characters would be greatly appreciated.
