The Job loader keeps on running and unable to stop it from the CLI. Kindly help me on this
Hi @VV121425, are you sure it's still running. I have had a couple instances where the it a job appears to be running in the UI even after a server restart but it actually isn't running. As a matter of fact, I opened case on this back in June. Here was the question I posed and the answer I got back. I hope it helps!
Question: We have a job that is stuck in a loop. We have rebooted the Matillion EC2 instance and it' still running. Is there a way to see the running jobs and be able to cancel any of them? Thank you!
Answer:
Matillion will always display a running job in the Tasks panel ( bottom right ). If its not displayed in the bottom-right panel, the job is not running.
Once a job has finished running (Success/Failure/Cancelled) its detail is then added to the "Project->TaskHistory" section. If you see a job here, it means the job is no longer running.
The TaskHistory page has a bug where it displays a spinner when it doesnt find a completed time against a line-item. This can be confusing and may lead one to believe a task is still running.
Also, a restart will clear out any jobs that are running.
Yes, the server crashed due to these error and the loader is not stopping. What to do to stop it? Kindly help me on this
