Matillion AI Data Games Virtual Workshop - Aug 27 2025

Thank you for joining the Matillion AI Data Games Virtual Workshop!

You’ll remember that, during the workshop, you processed a dataset focused on the 2016 Summer Olympics, aiming to discover more about the most successful competitors.

Key aspects of the lab included:- Developing ETL pipelines within the Matillion Data Productivity Cloud - Utilising Maia, Matillion’s virtual data engineer, for assistance.

The lab began with simple and foundational data engineering tasks, progressively building up to more sophisticated techniques and analysis. You gained hands-on experience with code-optional data engineering, data transformation, and integration, and working with generative AI inside an ETL pipeline.

Your access to the lab environment will have remained open after the event, so we’re opening this thread for everyone to share and discuss their experience.

We’re gathering up the questions asked during this workshop and adding to the thread with answers as soon as possible.

If you missed this workshop and would like to take part in the next, then head here to sign up.

Hi all and a massive thank you to all that joined the August Matillion AI Data Games Virtual Workshop! I hope you all found it helpful and informative.

We only had one question asked to the group at the event, which I’ve copied below for you all:

Richard E:
Can we export the More Examples to use it on our own environment?

James Kosterman:
Indeed, the Files browser lets you export pipelines and folders within the project that can be imported to another DPC account entirely.

If you have any further questions or comments, please add them below and we hope to see you again soon.

Many thanks, Claire
