Matillion ETL Excel Query empty Data Selection on #N/A value

Hello everybody,

When I want to read an excel file from Blob, that has this value “#N/A” inside some column “PO Date”, the Excel Query component shows an empty Data Selection. This is as if, it cannot recognize the Header of the excel. When I clean the file manually and reupload it to Blob, it behaves normally.

Do you have any idea why this is happening, or what options do I have to treat this case automatically, within Matillion?

    Thank you for your post, I spoke with the team about this and they advised to attempt the following:

  2. Set TypeDetectionScheme connection option to RowScan and RowScanDepth to 500

  3. Set NullValues connection option to #N/A

If this does not work, please let me know and we can look into it for you.
