You have one scheduled job, when it's running taking more time to run one of the component, how will you user knows without using SNS and SQS message?

It's a great question. Between the Matillion API, Task History and Export Variables, you should be able to find this answer.
You can always monitor the task history in real time to observe run times on individual components. If you want to develop some statistical process control, you can use the export feature to export the run time value to a control table (not sure if this is down to individual components, need to check). Otherwise, the Matillion API has a rich offering of metadata and statistics to pull from.
