I am trying to connect PostgreSQL (12.12) on-prem server from Matillion and allow the IP Addresses as per the document. But getting the error as "Connection failed. You entered the wrong combination of details."
Please help for resolving this error.
First thing to cross check would be - Make sure your PostgreSQL server allows external connections or is accessible over network
Secondly Configure connection:
- In Matillion, go to "Manage" > "Connections."
- Create a new PostgreSQL connection.
- Enter the server's IP, port, database name, username, and password.
- Save the connection.
- Test it to ensure it works.
Lastly,
- Create a Matillion job.
- Use components like SQL Query for interactions with PostgreSQL.
