Uncommitted changes stay when switching branches in Git

When I switch branches a popup appears

0694G00000Q5kL1QAJ_0D54G000093qHwDSAU

I click yes but these uncommitted changes stay. I can check that there are still uncommitted changes when I start the commit process. See screenshot below.

It’s causing confusion now because I’m afraid of committing changes that I did not intend to when working with those jobs. Does anyone know another way to get rid of these uncommitted changes?

did you ever get an answer? I'm back deep in Matillion after being a way for awhile. What I see is that it says I have uncommitted changes but when I press the commit button there is nothing there to commit. Then each time I say yes, and switch branches I see the same issue. :(

No answer, have not figured out a solution yet myself.

Hello @ivan.liao and @Bernie —

Pardon the delayed response, @ivan.liao, and welcome back @Bernie!

METL does manage its own metadata that can be hidden from front-end, it's possible you are running into that. If you have full access to the instance, the git repos can be located on the disk and viewed like any other repo, that might help you diagnose any strange state.

Hope this helps; please confirm in a reply.

Cheers,

Chika
