After standing up a new matillion instance. We’re unable to run jobs that are dropped in the sqs queue, I can see the job mentioned in the Catalina log but nothing in the Tasks. If I try to trigger a job manually via API, it goes straight to “Pending”. .

This sounds like a candidate for a support request as it probably has ties to the inner workings of Matillion. Sorry, this isn't of much use but I am sure support could shed some light.
