Can anyone explain the setting "Ignore misfires" on schedules jobs?

Hi all,

 

In the documentation I read: "Select whether scheduled jobs that missed their trigger time are run as soon as possible, thus ignoring misfires."

 

However, when I uncheck the Ignore misfires box, schedules jobs automatically start as soon as the machine comes up.

You need to tick the box to ignore misfires. To make the documentation more clear, we will update the wording.
