Cannot set up OAuth in Matillion

I am trying to setup OAuth with client id and client secret, but it dos not work… These are the steps I followed.

Project → Manage Oauth

Name - AppName
Service - API

Click Settings

Grant Type - Client Credentials
Added Access Token URL, Client ID and Client Secret… Click Next

Now nothing happens, all I see is
Fetching OAuth tokens… for quite long time. Am I missing something? The same secret work with curl or python script…

Have you read through the documentation for OAuth? You can find it here.

I did note in your list that you had everything but you haven’t mentioned the Access Token URL. Have you added that? If you have added that and the rest of the documentation doesn’t help, let me know and we can have another look.

Hello Claire,

I mentioned that I have added the the Access Token URL already. Please take a look at the issue. For Client Credentials do I need the Redirect URL?

Hi @srinivaspach,
I’m sorry, I meant the Auth URL and not the Access Token URL. Let me know if you have that and in the mean time I’ll investigate further.

hi @ClaireSeniorCommunityManager, am also facing the same issue, and per your suggestion, I was looking for Auth URL field but I see it under Grant Type “Authorisation Code” but not under “Client Credentials”. Could you pls advise.
