Hello, I am new to matillion DPC and I am struggling to understand how to connect to on-prem data sources in matillion DPC. The issue I am having is that the connections are being blocked in DPC it seems. I am using a standard Database Query component and also tried using Microsoft SQL Server Load component (the on prem DB is a MSSQL server).
From what I have read in the docs I need to use agents to connect to the data. We have already set up an Azure Agent which is currently running. Any advice of docs I can read will be appreciated.
Thanks for your patience, I spoke with our team about this, they explained that it could be one of two things.
The database would have to be publicly accessible and potentially whitelisted, depending on the configuration or You would have to have internal networking configured within Azure and use the site to site VPN to allow traffic to flow between the cloud account and the on premise, aswell as this being correctly configured within the subnet for the agent deployment.
These sort of changes and configurations are likely something your networking team would do.
