Extract Nested Data component missing in Component list

Hi,

I used API Extract component to pull data like in video from Matillion Academy but when I want to read data from table, i don't have component Extract Nested Data in my components list.

 

Orchestration job - executed successfully :

Transformation job - missing Extract Nested Data component in the list:

How can i read downloaded data?

"Extract Nested Data" is a Transformation Component. You have to create and open a Tranformation Job to see and use this component.

Thank you for the reply. I am in the transformation job, it's just i don't see it in Component list (AWS -Redshift), but i can see it in the list on my other Matillion instance (Azure-Snowflake). By the documentation it should exist for both these DWH.

Sorry, it seems I missed the second screenshot in your posting yesterday. I agree that this is strange behaviour and you should contact Matillion support why the component is not available on the Redshift instance. Good luck!

You may have already found the solution to this, but just incase you haven't, it's worth checking which version of Matillion you are using. The "Extract Nested Data" component was only introduced in v1.54.7 in the Redshift version of the product. I know it has been available on the Snowflake version for longer.
