How to test a version of Matillion?

Hi Matillion Community,

 

I want to test Matillion 1.71 over Matillion 1.69 (because I already have legacy work in a 1.69 Matillion instance). How to test a Matillion 1.71 instance ? Do I have to pay another instance with the pricing explained on Matillion website ?

Yes it’s a good practice to have a new instance on the new version, import your project and run your tests. If your just on the standard pricing then you should only consume a few hours worth of credits. You can then either switch off the old instance or upgrade it depending on your deployment strategy

Thank you very much PJay for your answer. I secretly hoped that Matillion could provide a Sandbox version to test freely new feature but anyway, I'll switch on a new instance !
