Matillion fails to send messages to AWS SQS queue? The job runs but there is no record of the message in the queue on the AWS side (or the dead-letter queue)

We are iterating and sending hundreds of messages to AWS SQS queue using the SQS component in a Matillion orchestration. The matillion job runs successfully and seems to send the message, but there is no record of receiving the message anywhere in AWS. Even after re-running the iteration, there are still messages that are not getting sent.
