Snowflake Snowpark and Matillion

Hey! I wanted to reach out to the community and see if anyone is using Snowpark and Matillion together?

A couple use cases come to mind:

  1. We want to leverage some python packages to help with data cleaning.
  2. We want to explore leveraging python to do the transformation work for a couple of tables.

Thanks if you are leveraging Snowpark within Matillion I would love to know what the community has built around it.

Thanks for your post. My name is Joni, and I work within the Product team at Matillion. We are seeing many customers call their UDF's within Matillion through the calculate component, as well as running their snowpark jobs inside Matillion to take advantage of our orchestration capabilities. We are currently looking at building out additional capabilities to further integrate with snowpark and are actively looking to connect with customers on use cases, and feedback on features they would like to see. We have some idea's and would welcome some validation on what we are thinking. If you are interested in providing feedback or validating our hypothesis further on, I've set up the following user group so I can keep all those interested updated and have a place for open dialogue. Hope to hear from you!

Thanks for the reply I will definitely check that out! That is all I have done with snowpark within Matillion too is to orchestrate stored procedures.
