Can Python3 script be used to connect to Database instead of Jython as Jython based script is show as Deprecated Python Script

Database component can be accessed using only Jython. but Jython based script is marked deprecated in the workflow

I get it in the task history/execution of the workflow for jython scripts executed as part of workflow.

I have spoken with our team and raising a support ticket for this sounds like the best option right now, you can do this via Matillion ETL Support

I got a response from support team stating that component was created on older version of Matillion and when json is imported into newer version of Matillion, it does show as deprecated. Workaround is to recreate the component on newer version. However Jython itself is still supported.
