I am trying to connect my Q drive on windows via Matillion DPC fully saas, with SMB URL V2, but getting error: Failure occurred when interacting with third party service ‘windows fileshare’ while performing ‘fetch file using Windows Fileshare’, message: ‘Unexpected error while fetching file from Windows Fileshare: Network error connecting to Windows Fileshare on host ‘MY IP Address’: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: com.hierynomus.smbj.common.SMBRuntimeException: com.hierynomus.protocol.transport.TransportException: java.io.EOFException: EOF while reading packet’; I would need to understand what all are my options to connect to my on prem shared drive via matillion DPC? Its a private IP

Sorry, I am little confused what you mean by the drive there.
I spoke to the team, and I hope this helps. The only means we have of connecting MHA / Full SaaS runners to privately hosted resources is an SSH tunnel.

Additionally, the following Load components include an SSH Tunnel property in their Connect settings, though the documentation does not explicitly restrict their SSH tunnel support to Full SaaS only:
