we are trying to find out how matillion environments can be set on a user level. My initial thinking was that an environment is selected for the current project version , So a user can use a different version. But unfortunately, that is not the case. Switching Matillion environments is applied to all version and users.
Okay, I just saw that developers/users can run their jobs on different environments by right click on the job. I hoped the default environment would be somehow reflected on user lever or version level. Maybe there is more I don't know about
Apparently it is a bug in version 1.63 - 1.66. It has been resolved in recent releases. See this article https://support.matillion.com/s/article/Environment-changed-for-all-users-when-user-selects-an-environment
