I have opened my Matillion ETL account through Snowflake Partner Connect. Now, I am trying to connect to MySQL(Hosted in GCP) through Database Query component to pull the data however I am unable to make a connection to the MySql

I have validated the credentials, and everything seems to be fine. I am able to connect to the same Mysql through Matillion DataLoader (from diff account) once I allowed the ip but not to Matillion ETL. I tried uploading different ver of JDBC driver but still same error. Can some one help me what can I be missing?

 

Error when open SQL Query:

Communications link failure

Thank you for your post, before we move ahead and look into this, are you able to confirm which version of MYSQL driver you are using alongside the Database Query Component? If its not MYSQL driver 8.0.32 I would like to recommend upgrading to that and trying this again.
