I have a Matillion ETL/Snowflake instance version 1.59.8 that I wish to update to the latest (stable) version. In-place updates are not possible with the newest versions and I do not want to use that method anyway. I registered a new instance from Matillion Hub and installed from the published AMI. After starting the instance, I confirmed I have a functioning (but empty) Matillion ETL version 1.73.0.
My task now is to migrate (copy) all Matillion configurations and jobs to the new instance. I followed the migration steps from this Matillion doc https://docs.matillion.com/metl/docs/updating-and-migrating/#migration.
I used the ec2-user as the server admin to perform the migration, and both the source and target instances have the same login credentials as required. I opened and the migrate utility on the source (old) instance requested it to copy all projects/users/everything. Once I clicked the "Migrate" button to start, it quickly processed a few steps but after a few seconds the status message read "Migrating OAuths" and just hung (see screenshot below). I let it sit for hours before closing the window and seeing that the old and new instances remain unchanged. Are there any additional steps I can take to prevent or troubleshoot the issue?
Other details: The AWS instance type I am using on the old instance is t2.medium while the new instance is using m5.large. Both instances are in the same region but different availability zones. I don't know if any of these details would cause the migration to get stuck.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
